Second time around, our experience just seems so different. Firstly, we don't have the nerves, the sense of overwhelming paperwork and red tape that we had last time. Everything pans out pretty well once you get to China, and now that we know that, it's so much easier to relax.
Secondly, with our dear Angelina already home with us, we don't have that sense of a "gap" in our family any more. Sure, we will love our new child as much as any other, but there isn't that sense of urgency this time. It will take as long as it takes, and we'll sit back and enjoy the wait.
